Off Shore Windfarms shouldn't be taxing - CJM's First
On Saturday evening someone asked me about what their personal tax position was when they were about to go offshore for a long period of time to work on developing an off shore wind farm. Checked out various seafaring facts and non-residence information and realised that I best check my facts and call the the team at HMRC. Extremely helpful though they were - the technical expert did admit that this was the first time that they had been asked such a question. I am now armed with a response and a "first". Just shows - small firms are just as likely to face up to the new and the ever changing world when looking at accounting and tax, the big boys are not always ahead of the game. The tax expert is off to do more research :)
PS - want to know the answer - give us a call.
